Summary: High risk neighborhoods and poor living conditions add to the factor of being more vulnerable to having a learning disability. Exploring the areas of pollution and socio-economic factors related to having a higher risk of a learning disability. Margai and Henry used primary data and analyzed clusters of people in a distinct part of a community near a toxic waste place, living in poor neighborhoods and living in poverty. The results confirmed that a majority of the people with a learning disability came from some socio-economic indicator such as poverty, subdivided housing, and lower adult educational attainment.
